1. Favorite childhood book?
I can't decide. But I do love Enid Blyton's books. I remember I used to pronounce her name as Grid Blyton because of the swirly handwriting on the cover of each of her books-_-
2. What are you reading right now?
Lord of the Rings.
3. What books do you have on request at the library?
We don't have a local english library. And don't get me started on my school library's choice of YA novels.
4. Bad book habit?
I tend to want to sleep while reading. A very bad habit.
5. What do you currently have checked out at the library?
-
6. Do you have an e-reader?
Yes, on my iPod but I don't really use it since I prefer real books....well currently anyways.
7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?
ONE BOOK AT A TIME. But I can't seem to do that when the book is on a boring stage whereupon the author just heaps a lot of dull information and expects me to read it. Seriously? No.
8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog?
I don't know. To be honest, I think they changed once I've started high school.
9. Least favourite book you read this year (so far)?
Hmm. I believe I haven't yet.
10. Favorite book you’ve read this year?
Since it's just 2013, I'll refer to last year's. And that would be The Things That Keep Us Here! I've read it five times and ain't gonna get bored of it.
11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone?
If you asked me this a few years ago, I would have said very rarely, but I realized I just had to keep my mind open to everything, so the answer to this is very often.
12. What is your reading comfort zone?
Basically, anything except books that contain too much sexual infringement. I said too much, because nowadays...YA books do contain them; they probably can't avoid it. Annoys me sometimes.
13. Can you read on the bus?
Aha. Sometimes. Especially when I'm trying to distract myself.
14. Favorite place to read?
On the sofa! In front of the tv. With a cup of tea. Or cocoa. Whatever comes to mind.
15. What is your policy on book lending?
First of all, do not crease the spine. It is strictly off-limits. And absolutely no dog-earring them. I think my friends know this policy since they have witnessed me screaming when they tried to bend the book forcefully to see my reaction. Not cool bro.
16. Do you ever dog-ear books?
Ocassionally. Just kidding. NEVER. NOT EVER AND NEVER WILL I.
17. Do you ever write in the margins of your books?
No!
18. Not even with text books?
Text books are an exception. Haha. Hear that didcha teachers? IN YOUR FACE! Pfftt
19. What is your favourite language to read in?
English!
20. What makes you love a book?
Pretty much everything. The smell of a new book, the crisp white or brown or discoloured pages of the book, the feeling of seeing words upon words on a fresh sheet of paper and thinking that I would live another person's life, today. Also, hugging a book helps calm me down....just...ssssh, okay?
21. What will inspire you to recommend a book?
When the plot haunts me through the whole week. And I mean good haunting.
22. Favorite genre?
A few years ago and I would say fantasy, but now I'd say fantasy, YA, apocalyptic, romance but not that much and definitely classics.
23. Genre you rarely read (but wish you did)?
Hmm, none.
24. Favourite biography?
Have never read one before..
25. Have you ever read a self-help book?
Yes! And it helped. Really did.
26. Favourite cookbook?
Don't have one, unfortunately.

A Thousand Splendid Suns.
28. Favorite reading snack?
Honestly, I'd settle for anything light and sweet.
29. Name a case in which hype ruined your reading experience.
None...?
30. How often do you agree with critics about a book?
-
31. How do you feel about giving bad/negative reviews?
I speak my mind. So there.
32. If you could read in a foreign language, which language would you chose?
French...or Spanish. I tried reading one in French, but I barely got past the first sentence.
33. Most intimidating book you’ve ever read?
-
34. Most intimidating book you’re too nervous to begin?
Hmm...
35. Favorite Poet?
Hahah. I don't usually read poems, I write them.
36. How many books do you usually have checked out of the library at any given time?
-
37. How often have you returned books to the library unread?
-
38. Favorite fictional character?
UGH. Definitely Hermione. BUT I LOVE EVERYONE ELSE. BUT HERMIONE....SHE'S SO INSPIRING.
39. Favourite fictional villain?
None so far...
40. Books I’m most likely to bring on vacation?
Books about vacation, most obviously, to get me into that vacation-mode faster!
41. The longest I’ve gone without reading.
Reading books? Probably three months. I KNOW RIGHT? IT TOTALLY BROKE ME.
42. Name a book that you could/would not finish.
Too many books that have left me despairingly clutching to the pages.
43. What distracts you easily when you’re reading?
Movement, loud noises. Especially if when I'm thinking about the fact that I'm reading. It distracts me easily.
44. Favorite film adaptation of a novel?
Perks of Being a Wallflower.
45. Most disappointing film adaptation?
Eragon. I can't believe it.
46. The most money I’ve ever spent in the bookstore at one time?
Maybe RP. 500.000. My parents went berserk.
47. How often do you skim a book before reading it?
Never .___. It will spoil everything!
48. What would cause you to stop reading a book half-way through?
When the words are too fancy to be understood... *looks at Les Miz*
49. Do you like to keep your books organized?
Depends on my mood... But I like to keep my books safe in my bookshelf...
50. Do you prefer to keep books or give them away once you’ve read them?
So far, I have never given away any books, whether I like them or not. They stay with me. Forever. Reminds me, when I grow old and have a house of my own, I'll have a library everywhere. In the bedroom, the dining room, the kitchen, the study room, the laundry room, the living room, even the bathrooms. Yeah.
51. Are there any books you’ve been avoiding?
Avoiding? Maybe 50 Shades of Gray. I really don't get why people like it. It's so full of....sexual infringement *shudders*
52. Name a book that made you angry.
-
53. A book you didn’t expect to like but did?
Lord of The Rings.

The Regular Shake of Pepper, Salt and a Little Sugar
So, hey people and bloggers! It's been four months since I've written anything. It's not just I had not the time, but I have simply got other things to do...
Hmm so to start, maybe a little overview of my life so far?
It's been...tasteless maybe. If life was a pot of soup boiling over, it would be. I have not received any hot significant spices, just the regular shake of pepper, salt and a little sugar now and then. But not significant enough to be mentioned...they're sometimes a little too subtle to be noticed.
So boring right?
As for school, I have finally gotten some motivation to work and study harder to achieve my desired major. I need to nail this. I NEED TO DO THIS.
Internship got me all thinking, and after the interview with the doctors, I realized I have only one year to make this right, to do this right. And I have no intention to withdraw. I will go through snow and wind and ice and rain and fire and stones and swords! HELL YESSSSS.
Speaking of that, I only have one year and a few months left before leaving for university! So much time has passed...since I was that small, a little woe-begone, timid person I left a long while ago. I don't know if i have improved, but I have certainly changed. I wish to change to a better person, even if it means leaving my comfort area.
Yes well it's never easy.
By the way, I have started to read Lord of the Rings. Maybe my passion for Adventure Time (of which I'd like to say thank you to Alay for getting me into it) had caused me to do this. I have never watched or read it before. LoTR, I mean. Ridiculous isn't it? A bookworm's not a bookworm if they haven't read it before. At least that's what I tell myself. I found a copy in Kino last week, and it's really heavy cuz it's three-in-one book. The cover keeps bending and the spine is curving outwards...badly. I feel like crying (nah, but you know what I mean) because I can't seem to hurt it while I'm reading it. Hurting books are bad. Really bad.
BAD.
I MEAN IT.
Tootles!
